What we do

The Virtual Scavengers Project protects the environment by keeping computers and other electronics out of landfills and putting them in the hands of those who need them. In doing so, we provide training and workforce development opportunities for the underserved in order to build community. Hours of Operation :

  Tuesday thru Friday 10:30am to 5:00pm

  Saturday 10:30am to 3:30pm                                 

What we Recycle

We accept the following items free of charge:

• Computers

• Printers

• Monitors

• Copiers (any size)

• Servers

• Keyboards, mice, speakers and other peripheral devices (microphones,    cameras, etc.)

• Fax machines

• A/V equipment

• Stereo equipment

• Cameras & video equipment

• Projectors

• Microwave ovens

• Routers and switches

• Phones, phones systems and equipment and cell phones

We accept these items with a slight fee:

• TVs - $10.00

All items donated  are tax-deductible.  Our donation receipts also verify that all computer hard drives are erased prior to reuse.
